One to one Yoga held in-person or zoom
This is therapeutic Yoga, tailored to your needs. One to one Yoga will be right for you, regardless of your age or flexibility. One to one Yoga is particularly useful for those who have an issue that needs focused attention or for whom general classes are not suitable.
Some common issues I have worked with.
Health problems that are directly related to stress:
- Pain that arises from unhelpful postural habits, emotional contraction, injury and misalignment through the body. This includes severe scoliosis, sciatica and neck and joint pain.
- High blood pressure, menstrual cycles, fibromyalgia and breathing difficulties.
- Healing after operation for breast cancer and recovery from treatment.
One to one yoga enhances the quality of your life by offering space and time to come back to yourself, integrate your emotions, find inner balance and connect to a sense of peace and strength within.

Cancellations made with 24 hours notice are refundable. Full fee will be charged if cancellation is made within 24 hours.
Home visits can be arranged at an extra charge, dependent on location.

About one to one Yoga
You - your posture and breath, your being, with one to one Yoga
This is a holistic approach, and I create a safe and nurturing space for you to move in and unwind in, allowing your body and being to heal. Your life experience, overall mental and emotional state are taken into account and I work intuitively with a wide range of resources to meet your individual pace and needs.
This is what happens:
After you have contacted me and we have had a telephone chat or email conversation, I will ask you to fill out a health form and you email this back to me. You share what you are comfortable to share, and this will be our starting point.
I welcome you to your first session and we start with a dialogue based on your health form to find a focus or starting point for the session.
We then find a way to bring you into your body and breath.
We will work together paying attention to your posture, what you are feeling and where tension restricts your natural movement and breathing patterns. I will encourage you to notice and feel how you breathe and how you stand so that you learn to self-correct your own posture with the help of some hands-on guidance from me. At the end of the session, I will take you into deep relaxation to integrate the work you have done.
We then explore what has been most of use for you in the session and together, work out a takeaway for you to practice at home until the next session.
During the session and when appropriate and welcome I offer ‘hands on’ energy balancing through clothing that will take you into a deeper state and bring further integration.
