Healing With Yoga

Transform your Well-being with Somatic Yoga and Mindfulness

Discover a safe and nurturing space at Healing with Yoga to reconnect with your body through our Yoga and Mindfulness classes. Whether you’re rediscovering the joy of movement in your little toe or simply seeking to feel more present and alive, these classes will bring your mind-body connection to life.

What is Somatic Yoga?

Somatic Yoga focuses on your internal experience rather than striving for the perfect posture. In our classes, the sensory experience is more important than the outer form, guiding you to develop deeper awareness and connection to yourself. This approach empowers you to trust your body’s wisdom, making your practice more enriching and allowing healing to happen.

What to expect in class

Our Somatic Yoga classes combine fluid floor work, energy medicine, and traditional Yoga asana. We focus on how you stand, breathe, and feel, ensuring that each movement nurtures your body and mind. By balancing your posture and incorporating gentle, deep movements, we help ease aches and pains while embracing forgotten corners of your body.

If you are looking for a sensitive, somatic approach that helps you age gracefully, feel energised and  nurtured, and eases out tension and stress then this approach will meet your needs.

My teaching is clear, accessible and good humoured.  I respond to the needs as they arise in the session, and I guide you to experience your natural inner peace.  I offer modifications when needed and so if you think you are too stiff or the wrong shape to do yoga, think again!

Benefits of Somatic Yoga
